Lufthansa plane has to turn around because of “unruly passenger”

Frankfurt/Boston. Due to a passenger acting unruly, a Lufthansa plane was forced to make an unscheduled landing in Boston. The plane was en route from Chicago to Frankfurt but had to abort the flight, a Lufthansa spokeswoman confirmed. "The reason was an unruly passenger," RTL had previously reported.
Lufthansa did not disclose what exactly happened on the plane. RTL reported that a passenger had caused a disturbance on the plane and attacked several people. One person was slightly injured.
The Lufthansa spokeswoman said the incident occurred on Saturday. After landing in Boston, the passenger was handed over to local authorities. The remaining 362 passengers were unable to continue their journey: Lufthansa said hotel accommodations were arranged for them and they will be rebooked on alternative flights.
